Arts. Art Enlightenment
"To enlighten intelligence and moral through arts" is the artistic education idea of Baocheng Primary School, who sticks to comprehensively education in terms of students' moral, intelligence and arts in an attempt to give full play to the edification of arts, develop students' intelligence and improve their accomplishment with art power, and promote their comprehensive and happy growth.
In 2012, it was rated among the first "National Elementary and Secondary Schools for Excellent Cultural Inheritance". Therefore, it brought art courses into its original curriculum, which involves Peking Opera, Chorus, Traditional Chinese Painting, Dancing, Go, Wind Music and Cartoon and built up corresponding art communities. Taking the learning of Peking Opera as a starting point, it also built many art stages in campus to develop students' art potential and level up their art quality, strongly improve students' sense of pride. Meanwhile, art courses also enlightens students of truth, the good and beauty.
In 2009, its chorus gained the highest points in the third Shenzhen Art Exhibition, being awarded the first prize for the third Guangdong Elementary and Secondary Art Exhibition, making history for Bao'an District. Besides, its wind band won gold prize in National Wind Music Contest in succession years. When it turns to students' art works, great achievements flourished, for example, Zhao Yi, Chen Cuyin and other students won the first prize of the Fourth Guangdong Elementary and Secondary Art Exhibition; the opera team also enjoyed the popularity from at home and abroad, who had amazing performance on the stages in Yancheng, Beijing, Hawaii and CCTV Spring Festival Gala. The opera team members Si Yi, Yang Bohao, Huang Yuxin, Fan Jiayong and Gan Jinlin won over 20 "Little Plum Blossom" golden prize in National Traditional Chinese Opera Contest. And their performance in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau are warmly welcomed.

Physics. Sunshine and Health
As a pacemaker of setting up exercises to radio music, Baocheng Primary School adheres to Sunshine Sports Project, which it has been insisting in carrying out for five years in succession. Broadcast gymnastics and martial art once a day, eye exercises twice a day are required. Classes that has no physic course at that day will get some extra physical activities to ensure at least one hour's exercises for students. The school has built up badminton team, ping-pong team, track and field team, martial arts team for students to be trained every day after class. Specialized teachers are in charge of these activities regardless of the weather.
Sports festival, track and field contest and individual sports contest (like tug-of-war, ping-pong contest, badminton contest, basketball contest and parent-child sports contest for grade one students), providing a sports platform for both parents and students.
It also acts as a training base for traditional training items like badminton and ping-pong. Students actively participate in sports and exercises. According to the statistic showed in physical agility reports indicates that the rate of reaching the physical agility standard of the students in our school is 99.3%.
Research. Three-level Linkage mode
Baocheng Primary School sticks research and science-oriented development to improve the quality of running school. In allusion to the scale, difficulty and deepness of research project, we shift down our focus on teaching and research to build a scientific atmosphere based on teaching individuals. Besides, we innovatively put forward new idea for research mode, namely "Three-level Linkage Mode", which refers to the building of school-level main subject, department-level sub-project and group-level sub-project, a new research mode that is unified, inter-depending and relatively independent.
The main subject is "Effective School Narrative Research", and each department should choose their own sub-project according to students practice and subject feature and then improve and systemize the main subject to form the comprehensive chain. Three-level linkage mode contributes to the new atmosphere as "Everyone engages in subject research and is in pursuit of professional development", offering new idea for subject research and a new mode for the school's teaching and research.
Practice has proved that the research mode which initiates teachers to begin their research work from routine work and class and solve detailed questions in class solved the phenomenon that teaching and science have no correlation with actual classroom teaching. This has solved the shortcomings of formalistic research work, hugely improving classroom efficiency and professional literacy of teachers.
